Yogapushpanjali 2026 includes workshops with Devki Desai and Sushama Chitale

Enjoy two yoga classes a day while your children are kept busy with their own programme of yoga, outdoor activities and crafts.

Camp if you like or stay nearby if you prefer.

Meals offered for stress-free camping! A tasty breakfast and dinner every day for campers, with hot drinks available much of the day.

Continuity of teaching through the week by experienced Iyengar yoga teachers Annie Beatty and Sarah Delfas with workshops from our wonderful visiting RIMYI teachers Devki Desai and Sushama Chitale. Mihir Chitale provides youthful inspiration and teaching for our younger yogis. Discover some of the stories and myths underpinning our yoga philosophy and practice with evening offerings of dance and storytelling.

Yogapushpanjali family yoga camp offers an opportunity for families to come together to explore their yoga practice in a beautiful, child-friendly setting close to the Ashdown Forest.

Together with a programme of inspiring Iyengar yoga teaching from established and experienced teachers for parents, teenagers and children (from age 6) alike, children and teens will also spend their time exploring the forest with a range of outdoor activities and games, busying themselves with craft projects or just having fun in a beautiful rural environment.

The week is intended to be as much of a delight for adults to explore yoga as it will be for children to create an adventure. Continuity of teaching together with storytelling of Indian myths - hopefully also with Indian dance added again! - will all contribute to an uplifting, sociable, family-friendly retreat.

BKS Iyengar was a family man. At the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune, his granddaughter Abhijata’s children and other young members of the family grow up with yoga around them.

Yogapushpanjali means “An offering of yoga flowers”. We hope this event will allow our yoga community to bloom and to bring yoga to younger members of our families.
