Thank you for putting together such a wonderful yoga camp. We enjoyed every minute - the teaching was inspiring, the food amazing and the company of fellow Iyengar yogis utter joy!

What an amazing event you pulled off! A lady on the next mat summed it up brilliantly. After class on Saturday she said “I feel like I’ve finally got here”. When I asked what day she’d arrived she laughed and said “Monday!” “I mean here”, she said, holding her hand lightly over her sternum.

What a wonderful Yogapushpanjali. Thank you so much. I loved the sessions with Sushama and shouldn't have worried about coping with the 2 - 3 hour class - the time flew. It was just what I needed and will inspire me to go to my mat during the summer.

Thank you to all the volunteers, thank you for the fabulous teen yoga, thank you to everyone for such a sweet, heartfelt Yogapushpanjali birthday - it was such a treat and will go down in my birthday history! (from a student who turned 14 at the camp)

We had an absolutely brilliant time. I was looking forward to it all year and it really was medicinal, I felt so looked after and supported. The kids had a great time and it was lovely to see my 16 year old enjoying himself and wanting to come back next year.

Huge gratitude to you for pouring so much love into Yogapushpanjali and creating a sense of family. It was a beautiful experience.

At the beginning of the week I noticed how off-kilter I had become. I now feel so much more centred, rooted and in my body. Thank you.

Thank you so much for all the yoga this week - I’ve had the best time!

Thank you for making us feel welcome - and just plain “good” by the end of it. Feeling warm and fuzzy inside and out.

Just gorgeous to see what an incredible impact you are having. I told my students and one of them asked if there’s another one this summer!

It is hard to express in words the depths to which I have enjoyed being at Yogapushpanjali this year. It is hard to know how to express my thanks to you for developing this wonderful concept into the reality that it is and for me to be a part of it. Warmth, welcome, companionship and community across all ages, beautiful surroundings, meeting of new and not so new friends, seeing the joy of children and teens, nourishing and delicious food, glorious storytelling, captivating Indian dance and to cap it all, the wondrous yoga teachings of BKS Iyengar. I have so much to take away in my body, mind and spirit that I hope will be nurtured for the times to come in both the small and larger worlds of my existence.

I felt so deeply nourished by the love and atmosphere at the camp. You guys are creating something really special

What a wonderful and inspiring community Yogapushpanjali is. I’m very grateful to be a part of it. Thank you.

It was such a lovely week and great to see familiar faces after so long. Inspiring yoga with so much knowledge shared. Thank you - really loved it as did the kids.

Thank you for such an amazing yoga treat and camping week. It felt like coming home - a deep sense of belonging. I’m reminded again of how incredible the Iyengar community is: grounded, kind and full of light. I’m so grateful to be part of it.

Yogapushpanjali family yoga camp offers an opportunity for families to come together to explore their yoga practice in a beautiful, child-friendly setting close to the Ashdown Forest.

Together with a programme of inspiring Iyengar yoga teaching from established and experienced teachers for parents, teenagers and children (from age 6) alike, children and teens will also spend their time exploring the forest with a range of outdoor activities and games, busying themselves with craft projects or just having fun in a beautiful rural environment.

The week is intended to be as much of a delight for adults to explore yoga as it will be for children to create an adventure. Continuity of teaching together with storytelling of the Indian myth “The Ramayana” will all contribute to an uplifting, sociable, family-friendly retreat.

BKS Iyengar was a family man. At the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune, his granddaughter Abhijata’s children and other young members of the family grow up with yoga around them.

Yogapushpanjali means “An offering of yoga flowers”. We hope this event will allow our yoga community to bloom and to bring yoga to younger members of our families.
